The world may have shut down, but Trinh T. Minh-ha is still on our mind. Even though our galleries are currently closed, and we can no longer host public programs in person, we continue reflecting on the questions posed by Trinh’s work during these times. Maybe even especially during these times.

This spring and summer we release a series of email newsletters that ruminate on themes such as time, labour, grief, capitalism, speed, nonsense, and power. There may be videos, memes, and quotes. We may offer to send you a postcard or invite you to call a 1-800 number. You might hear from us every other week or maybe every other other week.

Sign up here to get this newsletter, as well as Kameelah Janan Rasheed’s project and infrequent announcements of other Wattis happenings.

This is an ongoing program in our year-long season dedicated to the questions posed by the work of Trinh T. Minh-ha and how they address art, culture, and society today.
