Group Reading and Celebration: Mirage
Originally started as Mirage in 1985, and reborn in 1992 as Mirage #4 / Period[ical], Kevin Killian's photocopied poetry zine ran for 17 years, before its demise in 2009. In September 2018, Killian and Dodie Bellamy resurrected it and began publishing a series of new issues (Mirage #5 / Period[ical]), photocopied at the Wattis.

This event celebrates Mirage by bringing together seven writers who have contributed in the past year: Jeremy Benson, Brendan Cook, Sofía Córdova, Ryanaustin Dennis, Lourdes Figueroa, Ivy Johnson, and Jacob Kahn. An introduction is provided by Eric Sneathen.

This is the twelfth event in our year-long season dedicated to themes and questions posed by the work of Dodie Bellamy. This event is dedicated to Kevin Killian (1952–2019).

More information on the event is here.
